Frank Zappa

“None of us have the promise of tomorrow, God forbid this is my last day on this beautiful earth, it won’t be spent listening to some news person telling me how rotten we are, how rotten life is, heck no, I’m going out and seeing how beautiful life is. As humans, our time on this planet is very limited…Turn off, tune out and turn on your life. Peace” — Frank Zappa

  1. Seems very unlikely that he said this … source ?

    1. The quote is at several Facebook sites. Zappa was an amazing artist. Thanks for the feedback.

  2. It’s also on Pinterest attached to a drawing of Zappa, and some self acclaimed CEO on LinkedIn has it as his motto with Frank’s name attached to it. Those two places and here are the only sources I can find for it. In my opinion the vernacular doesn’t fit and ~Peace~ sends a red flag.

  3. “Here are three phrases I would never use in a quote, ‘God forbid’, ‘heck no’, and ‘Peace’.” Frank Zappa.

  4. Fake !
Always check sources before posting and think twice. Here’s the real source of this quote :
The Moments Between by Natalie Banks / The Moments Between Quotes …
“None of us on this Earth are promised a tomorrow. All we can do is learn to live and love in the place right where we are at. To appreciate the ones we love while they are here with us. And to live our lives to the fullest that we can. Because in the end, all we really have in this life to hold onto…are the moments between.”

  5. I don’t know who said this- but it wasn’t FZ.
